Drunk Driving

Do I even have to say this is dumb driving? It amazes me how many people are willing to get behind the wheel after having several drinks. Is it really worth risking your life? Is chancing getting into an accident really worth it just to make sure you get home? There's a big chance you might not actually make it home. It's your business if you're willing to put your life at risk, but don't put others at risk too.

There are many ways to make sure you can have a fun time without having to worry about driving home. Always make sure you have a designated driver that you can trust. If you go somewhere and get drunk, but you didn't expect to drink that much, call a cab or a friend to come pick you up.

Don't be another one of these statistics: http://www.alcoholalert.com/drunk-driving-statistics.html

  1. It is dumb and it makes me worry for my friends that are driving out there. I have a few friends from home in particular that I care about but they are convinced that they "drive better drunk"! They claim this because they have drove home many times drunk and nothing bad has happened. However, one accident is all it takes. Along with this it is important to pay attention on the roads at night and on holidays were the rate of people driving drunk increases. Those who are driving sober unfortunately have to share a road with these destructive drunk drivers. It is important to watch what is going on around you and have the polices number on hand to report suspicious driving. (Of course don't talk on your phone while driving but if you are sure they are a hazard to others pull over or have a friend in the car make the call to report them to the police)
